I have a Roper heavy duty extra large capacity washer that won't fill with water. I can access the spin cycle when I turn the dial, but there is no "action" when I turn the dial to the fill & wash cycle. Any suggestions? Thank you

If the water is turned on then the fill valve, water temperature switch or timer could be the problem

Check that the drain hose isn't creating a siphon and draining it as it tries to fill that was the problem I had with mine I just lifted the drain hose while it was filling it stopped it from siphoning and when I put the hose back into the drain I didn't put it down as far been working great since
