Hi

While remodelling my bathroom, I repalced the subfloor, levelled the floor, added durock and ceramic tiles. Now I'm replacing the toilet. The new cast iron flange sits two inches above where the old one was positioned. How do I "connect " it to the main waste pipe?

Why are you using a cast iron flange for new installation.. they have pvc flanges that you can insert directly into the existing pipe, it slides in the pipe then you tighten the three screws to make the botton of the flange expand and snub the o-ring to the pipe, then screw the flange to floor..
