My dog has Abdominal distension. Abdominocentesis was done but the fluid was bloody. Instead, Frusemide was given promote urine production. It was also found out that she has an enlarged liver with fluid in her chest cavity. The vet diagnosed her with right sided heart failure. And now, purple spots started appearing on her abdomen. The spots are very large almost covering a quarter of her abdomen. Advise what I should do. Is it a symptom that should be ignored? Or is it serious? She doesn't seem to be in pain.

Take her to the Vet - or, because the Vet has already seen her, make a phone call to the Vet. Liver problems are very, very serious.

I have asked that this be moved to the dog board.
