Hi All

I am a single international on F1 studying in NC in 2008.
-> I left NC to work at Atlanta from June to Aug (10 weeks). Was paid a stipend, paid state and federal taxes and now have my W2.
-> Worked as an Assistant for a couple of hours and was reimbursed (<$300 in total) in NC. Have my W-2

Questions
1. Do I need to file state returns in both GA and NC?
2. Where can I get help (willing to pay... looking for references) to file my federal and state taxes?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, you will file taxes for all the states.
If you are present in a state, then any income earned during this period, must be reported to the state.

To your resident state, you must report your worldwide income for the year. Read: Your U.S. Tax Return: Working or Living in Two or More states (http://taxipay.blogspot.com/2008/06/working-in-two-or-more-states.html)
