i heard there was federal grants for single mothers that pay you money for bills and pay for school?



I find all sorts of sites and information but nothing that seems to be definitive or trustworthy. Some of the sites require a deposit and then they search for grants for which you MAY be eligible.

I find no grants that simply help pay bills. However, some types of student loans/grants may be used to pay expenses while a person is in school.

If you to the college that interests you and speak to a financial aid officer, he/she should all of the information available.

There ARE grants/scholarships (alhough they are drying up due to the economy) which are available to everyone and not just single mothers.
