I came home on the Sunday after Christmas to find little clues that I have a mouse in the house. I called my bug man to come and help me and he brought me these sticky traps to put out which we did. The next morning I find one trap that had hair on it but no mouse and then a day or two later I find one of the traps missing in action. I have put out more and heavier duty sticky traps and also an old fashion trap and even have gotten a live trap and put it out in my kitchen. Still haven't caught anything. I had not seen any dropping in a while so he seems to like for me to leave a garbage bag down with a little garbage and I did that last night and he had gone in past the traps and shredded pieces of paper under it. I need some help. What can I do to get rid of this? I haven't seen it so I don't know if it is big or little or what.

I had mice problems and I put the old fashion traps out with Peanut Butter on them. They really did the trick I saw where they left their droppings and put the traps along that trail. Within in a day I caught two of them. Then many more. Then I adopted two kittens (I didn't adopt them for the mice problem)after they killed a few of them I haven't seen a mouse since.

I hope your bugman did more than hand you some stickyboards. Every pest control agreement I've ever seen(or written) includes mice and rat control. If yours doesn't you should shop around. It sounds like you need a thourough inspection, MAYBE a trapping program, or maybe some poison bait( inside tamper resistant containers ), and follow up inspections. You have, or should have, a professional service; make them give you some.
