Ok I'm a 16 year old and my parents and a friend of mine parents are filling charges for statutory rape. Mines being on a lower level than my friends. What is the length of time after the incident that I can file charges...

Well im filling charges because when i was 13 this 24 year old was basically feeling on me and to my knowledege the definition of statutory rape is sexual relations with a person who has not reached the statutory age of consent and touching is still sexual relations.

You'd have to attempt to file with the Police and see if they'll accept your report. Sometimes they do; sometimes they don't.

You are now going to be considered a predator yourself

You are now going to be considered a predator yourself, this will not make your case to prove easy.

I misread this to read that the charge against this person was at a lower level than the friend.
