About ten weeks ago I was a sandy dark blonde but I dyed my hair with a 24 wash semipermanent brown. Its fading slightly but I'm getting regrowth, and my hair is starting to look orange. Is there anything I can use to remove the dye without going to the hair salon and using a harsh colour stripper? I've tried using bi-carb soda in my shampoo but it isn't effective.

How you remove the semi-permanent color depends on the actual product you used. Some semi-permanents are more accurately known as "demi-permanents", and they are removed using ColorFix or Color Oops or ColorZap or Igora Phantom. Semi-permanents can be removed using Clairol Uncolor.

Be careful. Sometimes you have to re-dye the hair after using color removers.
