I have a Murray Select Ridding Mower model # 425600x8A it will not start? The fuse is fine. The seat switch was disconnected the key switch is on the funny thing is that I disconnected the battery ground side and when I touch the cable to the GR post the engine turns over, but no spark. I noticed in the manual that there are two switches one clutch and one PTO disengage I can't find either one? My only idea is that the ignition switch is bad since as I said the engine turns over with the battery, there must be a direct connection? Also I think I am correct the seat switch must be bad since whether the seat is up or down or not connected does not start but turns over as I said? Any ideas... PLEASE

The ket switch is cheap to try...
Though I'd take the shroud off the engine, and pull the kill wire off the coil to eliminate any switches. One switch is for the deck, one for the trans basically.. the other the seat.

Right now it sounds like either a bad solenoid or bad keyswitch.
