Hi, I am on dissaability, my husband was injured cannot not work, I have about 10,000 in additional medical fees, Is there a way I can claim this money.

Yes.
This deduction is itemized deduction. You will take deduction only if your itemized deductions are more than your standard deduction.. You can deduct the expenses that are more than 7.5% of your adjusted gross income (Form 1040, line 38). Probably not, as your income is probably so low that your two personal exemptions (total $7,000) plus your joint standard deduction ($10,900) will exceed your taxable income.

HI, thank you for your response. Since I am the only one working the only income we have is my SSDI. Will we be allowed to file with no earned income. Thank you for your quick response

If you are on SSDI, you are NOT working.
If SSDI is your ONLY source of income, then you have no legal requirement to even file a federal tax return.
That also probably applies to your state return as well.
