This brake switch has no adjustment. I called the auto part store and they said there is no way to adjust this type of switch
Thanks

I'd assess the situation yourself and not take the word of someone who works at an auto parts store--call around, if necessary. Most auto parts clerks don't work on cars themselves anymore--times have changed. On many cars, here's what's done:

Screw in the brake switch until its plunger is fully depressed (threaded end touching the pad on the pedal arm). Then back off the switch 1/4 turn to make .01 inch of clearance between the threaded end and pad. Tighten the locknut firmly and connect the brake switch connector.

I'm not familiar with your car, but common sense dictates that some sort of adjustment is likely.

This brake switch is not like the old type.I never saw one like it before myself but there is no adjustment.with these newer cars I thought maybe there might be somekind of sensor or something that was causing this.that Idon't know about.
Thanks
