The title pretty much sums it up. The background is kind of long, but I'll make it as short as possible:

I met this girl through a friend. We became friends later on, hung out with a bunch of other friends, etc. I eventually started to become sort of attracted to her, but since we hung out with many friends, it was difficult to go out with her. Hell, I met her mom not too long ago and I know the girl for a year. Now we mostly hang out by ourselves, we're also on the same Med class and stuff. My attraction to her sort of died down that year.

Almost every time we talk, we eventually get to a point where she says stuff that just.. doesn't look normal. I know that we're friends and all of that, but damn, I think I'm attracted to her again. I'm always (and I've always been) trying hard not be too much of a friend, but still I'm not sure if that's working or not, I don't really know what to do, so any advice is very much welcome, guys!

Sounds like you are more confused about what you want than she is.
First figure out what it is about her that attracts you.
Then write down EVERYTHING... that doesn't look normal
Try categorizing it all in like a 1 to 10 order
Like what you like
What annoys you
What doesn't seem normal
etc...
Figure out what things look like red flags
Like drama queen
Too double minded
Or whatever

If you get too many red flag type things... that doesn't look normal
Maybe you should just get her out of your mind and life.

Be straight up with her. Girls like that. Be like look, I like u. And go from there. The worst thing she can say is she doesn't feel the same way. And if that's the case then just be her friend. 90 percent of the time if a girl makes flirty comments or always finds a way to touch u, she likes you. Good luck!

Just be honest, and tell her you would rather be single, and do other things with other people. You aren't tied at the hip are you?

The sooner the better.
