Best thing for you to do is to take it to the court system. If you can provide evidence to them that the father actually does and sells drugs then it should be a no lose situation for you.

P.S. Also show them that he isn't even registered as the legal father on the birth certificate.

I'm not sure what your question is. If he hasn't been established as the legal father of the child by paternity acknowledgement or through a court-ordered DNA test, then he has no legal rights to the child whatsoever.

Taking it to court is going to give him access once it is established that he is the biological father. Proving he's on drugs is going to be hard to do; people say untrue things about their ex-boyfriend/husband all the time in court.

What is he has had a recent drug dealer charge/felony and has only been released 6 months. Ago? His name isn't on the birth certificate, the child does has his name, and he was there at the birth, but didn't want to add his name as the father? I ask the question, as the next of kin to my daughter, God forbid anything happent to her. She's in a very dangerous lifestyle as well and we've supported over 98% of the time raising the little boy (4 yrs. Old) with us for 3 1/2 years?
