Condensation can be caused by serveral things and usually all happen at once. You have way too much moisture and not enough air circulation. Find if the moisture is leaking through your walls and/or ceiling or possibly a bad bathroom vent. Something is putting lots of moisture up there and you must play detective. Also you need air entering the attic down low at the eaves and exiting at the peak or roof ridge, make sure nothing is retsricting this air flow.

I posted a site for you to use as a guide so you can understand the basics in roof ventilation and the terminology
This should help you to look for how your roof ventilation is set up
Now you can get back to us with a better understanding of your roof situation.
I posted the whole web address because it covers a TON of good information of all house hold problems and how to fix many.
The more you know the better you will feel on repairs.

I am guessing you have blocked the supply of air to your attic/loft. This sometimes happens when the loft insulation is blocking vents. Have a look at this site.
