Consider the system
SO3(g) = SO2 (g) + 1/2o2 (g) triangleH = 98.9 kj.

Questions is which of the above factors will increase the value of K?
Which will decrease it?

The trouble is i can't work out what k is? Someone please help.
The triangle is a symbol but can't find it on the computer thanks.

Have a look on this website on "Le Chatelier's principle" and see the line "The principle is an empirical observation and .... eg ....." (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Chatelier%27s_principle)

So related to that line : what in physics is measured in K??

And what will increase and what will decrease K here ?
