HP laserjet 1300

The printer prints with a scratch on top left of every page. No problem with contents but leaves some stretch marks (as if it were jammed on that section only) every time.


Any suggestion?

Check to see if there is a small jam. There are laser cleaning papers that will help clean the rollers.

Take a look at the paper feed rollers, try to turn them if possible and check if anything is stuck to them or near them. Sometimes when you remove a paper jam and the paper tears, a small piece is left in the unit. Try cleaning the rollers with some alcohol based cleaner (unplug first). Scott's suggestion of the laser cleaning papers sounds good although I haven't used any personally.
