Hi,
One of my friend he is hindu and his parents are extreme hindu, but he wants to be muslim but the problem is that due to his parents extremist thing he can't leave them alone , they are old and saying that they will never consider him as their son. He is the only child and he is scared of losing his parents because he loves them loads. He can't live without them they are mean a world to him as he is the meaning of their lives.
But he wants to be muslim by heart and don't want to lie to his parents that he is still hindu in fact he is muslim by heart and also he wants to marry a muslim girl.
Please answer this he is very much upset about the situation.
Thanks

He should become Muslim. I know it hurts him by the things that his parents are saying but that is no excuse for him not to become Muslim.

By his parents being elderly he will probably be taking care of them. That is what a Muslim is supposed to do. He should not abandon his parents but he still should become Muslim. Allah can change anyone's heart. His parents might be upset at first, but they will eventually get over it.

It is Allah that is calling him to Islam. He cannot reject Allah. He must embrace Islam immediately. One cannot deny the truth for anyone not even one's own parents.
