My nephew is 2 months old and has already had a rocky start. My brother and his sons mother fight all the time to the point where things are broken and they are both battered. I was asked to watch my nephew and had agreed but they wanted to drop him off after 10 at night. I declined my offer to watch him because I feel that 10 was to late for ANY child to be out, especially during the cold winter months. Now because of my "beliefs of parenting" my nephews mother is refusing to let me see him. She says " you made you're bed, now lie in it". She is trying to play games with me and is using my nephew as a pawn. My question now is, as his aunt is there any way I can get at least visitation?

Not unless you are able to convince CPS that you need custody in order to provide a safe home for the child.
