Full of well problems! If anyone can help on this please do. 2weeks ago we started to get red silt and sand in our house water. We cut down the use figuring we got ourselves low into the well, started to clear but now coming but with actual dirt(pebbles). The water seems to be dirtier in the basement plumbing like wash tub and washer. Today I can't get any cold water out of the shower upstairs, but I can get it downstairs, and if I do laundry or flush a toilet now we hear gurgling in the shower and kitchen sink. Am I doomed, please please help before I actually call the well man that will off the bat tell me I need my well to be redrilled.

Most likely some of the screen filters or even the valves may have been clogged by the dirt.
Has there been low rain fall ?
Earth quakes
Could well be caving in
Sounds like time to call the well company and have it inspected

No rainfall, but its winter here, and last weeks temps were about -15 and now this week we are at -36 with windshiled. So maybe empty well and possible frozen pipes, I don't know where to start. Had dirty water in the first summer we moved here cause I over used the water not use to being on well. The well is only 3years old. HMMM.

First off, for shower upstairs, take shower head off, and clean it. Reinstall and see if you don't get better pressure(for awhile)
It does sound like you will need some well work done. May need to redrill, or may be able to just lift pump ten or so feet(if enough water in well is available to do this) The grit is coming from the well, as you most likely already know. If you are not running out of water, just getting dirty water, then its time to call the well company.
The gurgling is another story. Plugged drain or vent. Sounds like someone let the devil loose in your house. You may be best to call a plumber. They will most likely be able to locate all problems, and hopefully fix them. Please let us know how things turn out.
