Besides paying $35 for the marriage license fee and $15 dollars for getting married at the Cook County Clerk's office in Chicago Ill, is there anything else I would have to pay in order to be officially married?

You might want to throw some money to the clerk or Mayor or whoever is marrying you... such as good Karma!

Good pricing, in Atlanta, it would cost a lot more. But all you need is a marriage license and a person to do it

Well now you need a copy of your marriage certificate.

This depends on the pricing

The simple answer is "no" it sounds like that should cover it.

Of course marriage in and of itself is very expensive. It will cost more than all your cars and houses combined.

Just as a side chuckle, when I first saw this thread, I thought it might have something to do with almimony! LOL
