Okay so I am using the NuvaRing for birth control. I forgot and took it out a week late.

Anyway my period started yesterday however I bled just a little bit. Then today I am using a pad and there is nothing at all on it (7 hrs later). And every time I have gone to the restroom today, when I wipe there is no blood at all. But I do have cramping. Is this normal? I am needless to say very scared/nervous. I have a 3 year old and I do not plan on having another anytime soon. Please help...

Read the instructions included with the ring. They'll tell you what to do in this situation. I know because I read mine about 800 times :)

I don't always get my period on the Nuvaring, either. I was freaking out back in November because I spotted for about 2 days. Then in December, I was back to normal.
