We have bought a system 6 months ago, until then it goes into problems for four times. Every time everything I installed has been gone to nothing. Nothing will be displayed except for the following information. "A disk read error occured Press ctrl + alt + del to restart" . I had followed the instructuion but nothing gets wright, again the same will be displayed. I don't have system knowledge. My brother was handling the situation all the time who was outstation now. Please help me with this, what kind ofproblem is this and why it is happening all the time. How it could be rectified and prevent.

Most likely it is the bios not detecting the boot drive try unplugging everything except for monitor mouse keyboard and booting up that way if that don't work and if you are tech savy then pop off the side and double check all the connections inside you could even go as far as replacing the ide ribbon cable
