8 month old baby who was eating fine until she was 4 months then she would scream and fight eating. Now she has had an ear infection for almost a month but the doctor said she was fine every time we took her until we took her to the er.Then she went back ten days later and she was fine so 2 days after that we were in the er again 5 days after that doctor said she still had it have to go back in 10 days. Could her ears be why she was fighting eating for so long?

Did they do the fancy test with a machine to see if the inner ears are clogged up? Just looking with the naked eye is not enough. My son had chronic ear aches and had to take medicine until properly cleared up. Had to see 3 different doctors until ears were finally infection free and clear. Yes, the ear pain can cause a child to be worse than cranky and not want to eat as they are too miserable and can't talk about it.

I also need to ask if you are giving her the entire course of antibiotics or are you stopping when her symptoms disappear?

Have you been referred to a pediatric ENT? If not, it might be time to look into it.
