Hi everyone, I'm pretty sure I already know what's happening, but I'm in denial. In November I met the most wonderful, amazing, beautiful girl ever. We connected in every way, we talk, I make her laugh, and when she's around all my troubles seem to go away. She told me the same. We've been together three months, and if love at first site exists, we certainly had it, chemistry, romance, and compatibility.

Recently she's been going through some hard times in her own life, and she told me that I don't listen and that I need to pay attention and be more motivated. She said "I do love you!" and I said "Is it enough?" to which she replied with "I don't know..." That sounds fatalistic to me, and I'm trying to figure out how in the course of a week we went from passion and fire to her telling me not to come over, and us needing a break.

It's possible I'm just reading too much into this, but at the same time, I'm trying to deduce if it's something I've done, or some personal issue she's dealing with. I feel as though I went from being the perfect partner to a casual. She told me once early on in the relationship, she never wanted to spend any available time apart, and with her other boyfriends she asked them to not come over frequently because she couldn't handle them. She said I didn't have to worry until she told me not to come over, which she has done...

You said that she has been going through tough times so she probably trying to recover from it and that line "is it enough" not smart cause that's tells her to rethink if she really does.

As tough and harsh as it sounds leave her alone for now. If after a week or so you have not heard from her, give her a call. Act normal and see what happens.

@Brynnan32: That is true, but I'm not famous for saying the right things all the time.

@450donn: I am supposed to see her tonight, we already made plans for such, so I'll play it cool and see what happens. I'm just worried about long term.
