Hello... I am new to the community and would appreciate any help you might be able to give to me! I have a Tecumseh Snow Blower and just today had a problem with the Auger. I went to press the handle down for the snow to come out and there was a terrible skreeching sound, and it did not throw any of the snow out of the chute! Everything else is working. It was easy to start and moves frontwards and backwards. It is just that I cannot use the blower part. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks...

This type of thrower can get clogged easily but do not use your hand to clear the clog, use a piece of 2x2 or similar material to drive the clog back down the shute. The noise was the fan belt slipping when it could not clear the clog, don't worry if this is the only time you hear it.
