Peoid. Every since then I have a brownish discharge fortwo weeks out of every month
Since July of last year. I went to an OBGYN doctor and he did a pap smear it was normal. He gave me some medicne to start my peroid and it did for one month. Since then I get the usually cramping but no bright red blood just the brownish stuff. Also, I found out the my mother as well as two of her sister and aunts have all had female problems which resulted hysterectomies. Please advise??

How old are you? I am going through the same thing and I was told this was just a part of my going through the change. I have had tests and they all come back normal. I have noticed as time passes the symptoms are getting less and less. I wish I could just dry up and be done with it.

Have you been going through some stress/physical/mental changes?

Any of these, including even dieting/exercising/losing weight can alter your hormonal balance, and thus you not have a period.

Have you gone back to your OB since that original visit for the pap smear?
