Hello,
I have a fridgiaire fleb8200 washer/dryer combo.
Dryer spins but no heat. Says in the manual to check the 2 fuses in the dryer circuit.
But NOWHERE does it tell you where the fuses are?
Talked to a repair tech and he said there's 2 wires going into a thermal limiter in the top back (found it). He said to just jump it, and see if it works. If it does you'll be all set.
This make sense or should I try and locate the fuses?
Thanks

Usually there are no fuses in the dryer itself. They are talking about the circuit breakers or fuses in the main house panel. Turn the breaker completely off then back on and check if you have 220/240 volts supplied at the unit.

Then try the jumper the thermal limit as was mentioned by the repair tech.

UPDATE:
Took the top off, made a jumper wire and bypassed the thermal limitor. (I know it has juice because I gots zets when I touched it after I plugged it in (no tape). Unplugged and taped and now its all set. Thermal limiter is jumped. Problem. Still no heat. Dryer spins, but no heat.

What's next?

PS I also flipped the breaker to check that as well.

Check the heater itself.

Any wayto check it without actually replacing it?

Or even a walkthrough online to know if I need a tech or can do it myself?
I tried to Google it, but no luck.

THanks

If you have meter and know how to use it but becareful there will be 220/240 volts at the heater when on. Your mechanical/electrical ability only you know.

What's a meter... LOL?
I did what I could and finally called a repair tech to come in and fix it.
Total bill was $196 with parts.
(Part was $96) the heater was broken in the middle and no good.

Thanks for all your help
