But I'm kind of out of ideas for a valentine's day. I have to order it now since I'll be in military training for valentine's day. The idea's I've come up with either are really nice or they bomb a bit or there's some slight flaw. It's our first valentines day as a married couple

My first idea was I order a pizza from pizza hut and ask them to put his favorite topping in the shape of a heart. The down side to this one is he's trying to lose weight and I don't want to sabotage him.

This goes for all the other food gifts I'm thinking about

Would a guy like receiving flowers? Like from his wife. Or something like a small teddy bear?

He isn't the burly type but he's defiantly a guy.

Hi, Starbucks21!

If he's a guy, and might be like someone like me, who really enjoys plants and flowers, I'm sure that receiving flowers might be something that would be okay.

Thanks!

It really doesn't matter what the gift is or if it is romantic. Do something thoughtful.

Does he have a particular toy that he enjoys like an xbox or motorcycle? Does he have a hobby that he doesn't get enough time to do? Does he like sports?

Romance is not always about doing something romantic but showing your loved one that you love them.

Last year for valentines I got a really nice kitchen knife. Least romantic gift ever... but I use it every day and it reminds me of her every day.

True but it's a matter of how it will get there...

And xbox

It'll get there the same way anything else will. I assure you, if you want to buy it, someone on the internet sells it and will be more than happy to ship it. If you talk to them I bet they will even try to deliver it for 2/14.

I'm sure the military run a postal service, well as for presents give us some background info, what sports does he like? What kind of things doe she like e.g. films , does he have a games console?

Actually not really...

They would ask why you didn't plan for it ahead of time and I don't really have access too much. The best I could do last min would be to rip a piece of paper into a heart and tiredly write "be mine." As romantic as this may sound, I really want to surprise him.

He likes movies with explosions (I try to watch them with him but I fall asleep. He finds it amusing and so do I because he does the same during my romantic comedies). He has a xbox. I can't really afford the games he likes right now though. He does like this one show called "Red Green Show."

Here's a YouTube clip of the show... YouTube - Red Green Show - A Handy Computer Desk (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xP3xiLKJ9_4)

The show has a run on joke about duct tape fixing everything. Which got me thinking... do you think duct tape roses would be good?

I was watching xxx2 last night(not porn don't worry)

it has guns cars, attack helicopters explosions everything that makes a good male attracting film

I bought a black or was it purple rose for a guy once and he was touched. He said it was the first flowers he ever got. That's a memory that he will always have. I got him his first flowers and he gave me my first tools. I think that was cool. Maybe you should get him a gift certificate to his favorite store too. Or some sexy underwear. Heehee

Hiya,

I bought a personalised poem for my boyfriend from these guys Unique Personalised Gifts - Bespoke Poetry - Poetry Perfection (http://www.poetryperfection.com) as they have a choice of how it's presented, some are very girly but some are more masculine. It's a lovely way to tell him how important he is to you and it can be a funny poem if you don't want it too soppy :)
