Helloo, I like to wear makeup because my skin isn't great (spots, etc) so I tend to wear foundation, blusher and mascara. Sometimes liquid eyeliner.
My look isn't very exciting and I really want to try some new makeup looks. Any suggestions? I like the cat eye look.
But what about different blusher types, eye liners/shadows, lipcolours? Any suggestions of nice looks? Also can anyone recommend a really good reasonably priced foundation? Thank you everyone!!

They might be farily dear, but I have heard good things about products from bareEscentuals. Also Sheer Cover mineral make-up. For your skin, have you tried things like Clean and Clear?
You might find some new ideas to try from some of the fashion magazines. They often show the products and even how to apply them to get the look in the photos.
I know there are a number of books from make-up artists as well you might find at the library, book store, or even on Amazon.

The Body Shop book on makeup tips is available from your library, or a really good investment if you want to order it through Chapters.

Well you don't want to put on too much make up so you look orange do you? So try a natural look with more eye shadow? Maybe smoky eyes?

Use concealer, eyeliner, mascara, golden shades of eyeshadow, and orange or lemon flavored lip gloss. Hope I did help.

As someone who has combination skin, I can recommend either a tinted moisturizer or mixing foundation with your regular skin cream (or even a little noxzema) as opposed to using foundation straight from the bottle. Cover Girl used to make a really great anti-blemish compact which can be used over regular moisturizer as a foundation.

I'm an acne sufferer (damn genes!).
You should visit your doctor for the acne.
I use bare minerels. It's really good and doesn't break me out.
You could also use a highlighter on your cheeks instead of blusher, this will make your cheeks glow!
For eyes, there are plenty of looks out there! I don't use the expensive eyeshadows that claim to stay put all day, instead I use cheap eyeshadows, I wet my brush and then put the colour onto the brush because this is what makes the colour intense and the colour lasts all day!
Check out this lady on YouTube, she's an inspiration!

I would recommend navy blue eyeliner. It looks a little lighter when you put it on. It looks nice with very dark eye colors too. You can get resonably priced makeup at eyeslipsface.com. I like the lip products. I'm not a big fan of the mineral foundation though. I always buy inexpensive cover girl foundation at walmart in the clearance aisle. It works well.
