I am in search of early 90's Techno. I live in Chicago, therefore, I've heard most of the old tunes on the late night radio mixes. I have most of the commercial songs like "who is elvis", "hocus pocus", "dominator", "cosmotrash", "ultimate seduction", and "o'fortuna."
That's just my partial collection, but I am in search for "That get's my heart pumping", and "New york new york, chicago, chicago".
Don't know the artists, but I'd really appreciate your help.
Cheers!

I know your post is ancient but I'll answer anyway. The name is S-Express. Hit me up with your list. I'm a collector too. Thanks.

Thanks joker, but S'Express is referring to what song of the two I posted?
My collection goes as deep as techno to house. I just found a few versions of Cajmere's Brighter Days on a CD my buddy gave me a few years back. Really uploading all the music to the computer so I can see what I have.

Hello,
I was referring to New York. I may be wrong on this but I feel 80%. I did a search and couldn't find reference but I think I'm right. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Do you remember a track around 91 or 92 that had a hook that said "Fire" or the "Oompa Loompa (separate from the latter) chorus? Let me know. If you want to IM let me know. I'm on Yahoo Messenger.

Ciao.
