You can have some spotting or bleeding in pregnancy, but it is not technically a period.

If you are in doubt, take a pregnancy test.

Bleeding at any stage during your pregnancy warrants at least a call to your ob. Some women experience regular spotting around the time of their normal period and have no other complications. But that is not the norm.
