My sons dad and I have been on and off for a while.it was great then all of a sudden he left.he began to date other women.then he comes back and say he left because he was being stupid,he was afraid of becoming truly deeply attached to me.after I had the baby that is.he moved to a nearby state to get his life together and has done well.he says he wants me back and loves me.hes even planning to move back to my town.during the holidays he came by to see our son and I noticed a tattoo of our sons name on his neck.he has 2 sons and the one we share is the youngest.I didn't see the others name anywhere.why?? I love him so much and I want to be with him but I have been single for about a year and a half.I can't wait much longer.how do I get him to make his move and be with me,or how do I let him go for good.I feel like my life is in limbo and I want to move forward.just to let you all know he left me not his son.hes a great dad and always has been.

If he wants to be with you, he should have done that long time ago. It's glad to know however that he is a good father. So move on, don't put your life on hold clunging to this dream. If a man to be with you, nothing can stop him. If he wants to leave, nothing can make him stay.

As for the tattoo, maybe he didn't have time to go visit the artist or doesn't want needles anymore.

Let him be a good dad then, and leave it at that, as a relationship between you two is not necessary for you to be good parents.

You may have a child together, but I can't see much else. You both need to get your personal lives together, without each other. Sorry.
