A friend was talked into giving up his apartment to move in with a woman who claimed she wanted to marry him.

Long story short he gave her funds to help with bills (not rent) and she then said that he should keep his money to build up his business

Not long after that she began demanding rent that he doesn't have even though she knew he was waiting to be paid for certain contracts related to his business.
They talked and agreed that he would move in April when his funds came in.

Now she is saying he wants to evict him now! What are his options?

He has NO options. He has NO lease, therefore he's a month to month tenant. She's his landlord. She can evict him. It's probably going to take 6 weeks or so, so he has a little time.
