I have a problem with a Hampton Bay fan/light with the round fluorescent bulb. The light blinks dimly when the fan has power.I tried a new remote receiver and a new ballast... neither helped. I called the Home Depot help line for fixing ceiling fans and they swore the new ballast should have fixed the problem. To date... no resolution... I was hoping it would just go away.

Did you change the bulb as well?
