I'm a techno moron and new to Photoshop. I do have the 30 day Lynda.com free workshops, but I;m stuck in one particular area. I know how to open a photo I want to work on in Bridges, then doube click it to get it over to Photoshop. How do I open TWO images in Photoshop so I can use elements from both?

If Bridge is not in your task-bar as an open application, in Photoshop go to the File menu, and select Browse. In Bridge, select the next image and open. If the images are not both visible in Photoshop, select Window and Arrange and then one of the Tile options so that both images are viewable.

If both images are in the same folder in Bridge you can also control+click to select them at the same time, and open them both together at the same time.

Ctrl + O > Hold down Shift or Ctrl to get multiple images selected.

Or just go through the File>Open (Ctrl+O) procedure a couple of times.
