How would a tatooist, with a felony record, go about getting bonded to open his own tattoo parlor? He is extremely good and I believe this is his calling. This is what he does best.

I don't understand why he is being bonded which would guarantee that any stolen money would be repaid.

Why isn't he seeking liability insurance instead?

Is he licensed?

Hi, bilbery32!

To be bonded, a full-service insurance carrier might be able to do that.

Do you know if being bonded is a requirement where he might want to open his tattoo parlor? If it's not, it could be an unnecessary expense.

I agree, that liability insurance is a definite necessity!

Thanks!

I would see where one should be insured and they have to have a license. In your state is a bond required to get your state license ?
