I am installing a programmable Noma 52-2570-6 thermostat (upgrading from a previous FHP Manufacturing Thermostat that wasn't to our liking.

When taking the old thermostat off,
G -green
O - orange
Y with jumper to W - yellow
C- black
R - red

My new thermostat requires:
RC
RH
G
Y
W

Can anyone help me? This thermostat is hooked to Earth Energy furance unit in an apartment complex with a ground water source heating and cooling system

Don`t think the new tstat is compatible with what you have

Will need to get a thermostat that is compatible with heat pump, as wmproop said.

Take the original thermostat in and tell them you need one that will work with your system. There will be many options, I would suggest a honeywell.
