No. They probably don't even know. They can, however, help you regain access to it.

Actually,I don't think Yahoo could do that.But what you could do is "change your password" if you still have access.Tell me if I sounding a bit ridiculous,sorry.I mean,if your hacked then you can't gain access anymore to your account.But,I'm just saying.Trying to help>? hehe.

Can't speak for Yahoo but my AOL account was hacked (and pretty much stolen) about 5 years ago. I filed a Police Report, they got a warrant and got the info from AOL. The info was not released to me but the State Attorney General filed charges against the person.

It was a plea deal so I didn't get involved.
