Hello,

I've had bouts of insomnia for the past three years or so. I've tried various things like getting a comfy pillow and taking drugs (I was on Lunesta for awhile but I get the unpleasant taste side effect and it drove me insane).

Currently, it's happening again. I have trouble falling asleep and I wake up way to early. Last night, I even tried taking Rozerem and that helped me get to sleep but not stay asleep. I woke up at 4 and just laid there, trying to relax and I was so exhausted but I just wouldn't fall asleep and had to be back up at 7. Now, I also don't feel like eating breakfast when I do finally have to get up.

I need some suggestions. Do I go to the doctor again? Is there something I can try before I do that again?

Try the healthy way it can't hurt and it has worked for me. I have used successfully and suggest 'Vatarian Root' the pill smells awful but once swallowed you get no side effects. 'Melatonin' is great! No smell no side effects gives me a solid nights' sleep. Last 'Saint Johns Wort'. Its' not like it sounds! No worts in it! Promotes good mood and assists in sleep. Not eatting sounds to me like you are caught up in a vicious cycle. Lack of sleep breaks down our immune and appetite. In fact without proper sleep (Not too Much, Not too little. About 7 hrs. or 7-8) our bodies just don't function . I know you are aware of this by the sound of your message. Good luck and God Bless In the spirit of the Holidays "I wish you, Sleep o' heavenly Sleep"
