There is some website that I go to to download things, but it has bad advertises around them like naked people and things that I don't want to be looking at. I want to know if there is a free program that blocks them. I have Firefox and I downloaded Adblock Plus plug-in. Does that work? Is it good. Thanks

Almost any kind of "free" software has strings attached.

The best way to avoid ads and other malicous internet programs is to avoid so called "free" software and shareware.

I don't even run flash or java script unless I want it to. I keep all that stuff turned off while generally surfing the web.

If you use Firefox, click on tools then Options and go to Content tab and then check marks out of the last 3 boxes and click OK
