Cold water to kitchen went from strong to a trickle after shutting off water at main and then turning back on. Not the fixture or supply line any ideas?

Not the fixture or supply line Did you open up the valve and flush out the supplies and open valve body? Sounds to me like you disturbed some minerals built up on the pipe walls and it got sucked up into the cold water inlets of the valves cartridge. Regards, Tom

Milo, If it were the aerator both the hot and cold would be affected. This is not the case here is it? He messed with the cold water main and now has no cold water at his kitchen sink. Hmmm! Cheers, Tom
