I have a Murray 5/24 snowblower. It will not move forward or back. What do I do?

Check for loose rod linkage from the Handel lever to the Transmission and how that lever is going to the trans You probably did this but play with the "neutral" postilion location

If your linkage is OK check your drive disc. In my experience it is the most common problem as the rubber wears off the disc and then has to be replaced. Hope this helped.

That wire may be from the alternator to run lights.
