Hi everyone, a quick question!
My boyfriend and I are travelling to Amsterdam from London at the end of January, but he has lost his passport! :mad:
He is half british and half German but has always held a German passport. He wants to apply for a British passport but it will not arrive in time for travel. In 2007 he had a similar issue and was granted a temporary German passport for travelling. I was just wondering, does anyone out there know if it will be possible for him to be given another temporary passport and how we would go about getting it? We have tried contacting the German Embassy but only seem to be able to get through to non English speaking staff! We are unsure as to whether he will be allowed a 2nd temp passport, or if Britain offers a similar service?
