Do you know anybody with kids that you could offer babysitting so they can go out?
You can also print up fliers and pass them out.
Try and get references and any qualifications such as watching younger brother/sister.

The best way to get babysitting jobs is to ask your parents friends or ask them to put up an ad at work. I've found the most jobs by posting on our local school district site.
You might also want to take a basic first aid class first/ a babysitting class. They offered these at out local YMCA. Parents aren't likely to hire you if you don't have any experience.

You can go to the YMCA or Salvation Army or Red Cross for classes.

Hi, Michelle Sham!
On this other thread below, you mention that you're 11 years old and that you've been babysitting for three years.

So, I'm wondering if you might be meaning to ask where to get children younger than yourself that you can babysit? There are people that advertise on the Internet without paying anything for the advertising. Just as examples, please click on the following searches.
Babysitter New York City - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Babysitter+New+York+City)
Babysitter Classifieds - Google Search (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&q=Babysitter+Classifieds)
If you might not be old enough to qualify to advertise according to the rules on any given site, one of your parents could probably advertise on your behalf if they think that it would be okay and safe.
Thanks!
