I know how to install fonts from the web and I actually have installed some a long ago. Now, I'm trying to install a font from abstractfonts.com. I've tried installing it in my Windows XP desktop and in my Windows Vista Laptop. When I download the file and I drag the tff file to the fonts folder, seems to install well (the same in both computers). But then I can't find the font in the folder. I open a new document in Microsoft Word and it appears (some) the name of the font in the fonts' list but it gives me a completely different standard font. Now, I want to use the font in Photoshop to create a logo, but the name of the font do not even appears in the fonts' list in a new document in photoshop. I literally have spent almost all day in this and I'm giving up. Any help? :(

Sounds like its not a valid TTF font.

Is there anything I can do in this case?
Here's the font I want:
feena (1) - Abstract Fonts (http://www.abstractfonts.com/search/?q=feena)
And I've tried some other fonts in dafont.com... the same happens.

I had to unzip the file. I clicked on "Unzip to..." and then dragged the file to the Fonts folder. It worked. :D

Uh-hu. I was confused because the file actually has the extension TTF. So I was dragging THAT file without unzipping it. I didn't do that other times that I had downloaded fonts... at least I didn't remember. Thank you.
