Me and my husband bought I house but a week before closing I was told I had to be off the deed until closing, but we were told after the closing the was not true they were just trying to make the process go faster. Now we want to get me on the deed but we don't know how do it and me don't have 150.00 for a lawyer to do it for us so I am asking you how do we do it for a cheaper price and how do we add survivorship as well on it.

You need an Attorney to make certain all the bases are covered. Some mortgage companies/banks will not allow you to change the title unless the mortgage is also changed.
I don't understand why things would go faster if the paperwork was only in your husband's name. Did anyone explain that part of it to you?
I wouldn't do my own Deed and take a chance that you have made a mistake.

Are you a signator to the mortgage? If not, then you will need to obtain the lender's approval to add you to the deed. Almost all mortgages have a due on sale clause. This means that if the property is transferred to new ownership (and changing the deed is considered such a transfer) the lender could demand that the mortgage be paid in full.
If you are on the mortgage, then the lender may help make the change. If not, I would contact the title company for their help.
