I am replacing a garbage disposal and the dishwasher hook up on the garbage disposal is the same size as the dishwasher hose. What is the best way to connect these?
The new disposal has a knock out plugthat must be removed before connecting the DW hose to the disposal in the usual way. Don't forget to run a high loop ,(see image) on the DW hose before connecting to the disposal.

Use DW-to-GD rubber connector. As Tom said: Don't forget to remove the knock out plug from garbage disposer

I have found that if you simply lube the hose and open the end a bit then it can be secured with a hose clamp after you wiggle it on. Anyhow good luck, Tom
