Does anyone know what formats the Sony BDP-S350 play? I know it plays regular dvds from retailers, but the DVD's that I burn from home on DVD+R are not working. I have tried the following formats...
.mpg
MPEG2
.AVI

These don't work, and also I have tried to put t in DVD Movie Format, also did not work...
Please help...

DVD+RW Read Compatibility : Yes

DVD-R Read Compatibility : Yes (Video Mode and VR Mode)

DVD-RW Read Compatibility : Yes (Video Mode and VR Mode)

But I can't find specifically what format. Doesn't it say in the manual?

About midway down under technical specs. Looks like a variant of MPEG4

Sounds to me like you aren't finalizing the disk for playing in a DVD player.
