First try 1/2 clorox 1/2 water mix hot down tube drain. If that doesn't quite do it and you have a waste and overflow where you operate the tub drain stop drain hot water 50 clorox 50 water pour that slowly down the waste and overflow. If it needs more strength do so[

Pour 1/2 gallon of bleach leave it over night when you get up in the morning put a bucket of boiling water and turn on the faucet turn it to hot to flow more water for a few minute, hope it will work, Thanks.

If the above would not work for you here is your problem.

The smell comes from rotting hair and grease. To make sure the drain line's are clear the best way is to snake the drain.

Snake it from the tub waste and overflow, (see images). Unscrew and remove the overflow plate, (The one with the drain lever) and pull out the tub stopper. You now have a clear shot at the trap. The way you were going in through the drain it ran you square into a tee that you can't get around. Now feed the cable (1/4" best or 3/3" with a small tip. You can rent a Ridged K50 sink cable.) About 2' down you will run into the bend of the trap. Crank and push at the same time to work around it. Your blockage will be found in the lateral pipe going to the stack. You shouldn't have to put out more then 10 or 12 feet. Clogs in tub drains are from the hair and the worm should auger into it and pulls it back, good luck.
