I currently have a urinary tract infection, which is something I deal with from time to time. However this time I have noticed quite a bit more blood in my urine than I ever have before. I went to my doctor last night after I felt the infection coming on, and got pain killers and antibiotics, but am wondering if I should return concerning the blood. I do not feel any more pain, or notice any symptoms differing than that of previous infections.

You should definitely call the doctor and ask if he should see you again.

It's good to call your doctor, however, antibiotics take a while to take effect.
